Below is homework to do before our next lesson, on Monday, March 25.

- p. 213, complete all. For the “useful words
and phrases,” first make sure that you know the meaning of all ten words and
phrases, and then write (invent) an example sentence using each word or phrase.
- p. 145, study the grammar and do exercises a
& b.
Introduction
to Academic Writing:
- p. 14, exercise b.
- pp. 24-25, read the narrative paragraph
“Earthquake!” & read the chart of Time Order Signals
- Read TWO articles about climate change from
the links posted on my blog (in post number 2, right above this one). Choose whichever two
articles you want, and then write a short summary (approx. 180-200 words) of ONE
of the articles you read. In your written summaries, use time order signals
(from writing book pp. 24-25) where appropriate.
