Dear students,
What follows is the homework to complete before Monday, October 7.

(I) If you have not done so already, get the following course books from Feltrinelli International & bring to class on Monday (you are eligible for a 10% discount on Cutting Edge if you explain that you are my student):

- Written English for Advanced Learners by Jennifer Pudney

ALSO Get the following dispense from Copy Art on Via degli Ausoni & bring to class on Monday:

(II) Complete the following exercises from Cutting Edge students’ book (pictures of pp. 8-9 provided below for your reference):

- p. 8 Exercise 3b

- p. 9 Exercise 4

- Read p. 106 text about Songdo, South Korea

- Read p. 109 text about Medellin, Colombia

- p. 9 Exercise 6b (after reading the texts about Songdo & Medellin) – Provide written answers expressed in complete sentences and/or paragraphs.

(III) Complete your translations of the following sentences from Jennifer Pudney’s book (pp. 98-99):
